Hartford 2000 is the coalition of all
Hartford's Neighborhood Revitalization Zones (NRZ’s) and the City of Hartford.
The mission of Hartford 2000 is to
strengthen the individual and collective capability of the NRZ’s and to serve as an advocate for neighborhood issues.
- Assist the NRZs to secure resources to implement their Strategic Plans and other initiatives
- Actively participate in and influence policy development and issues that affect Hartford
- Market Hartford’s neighborhoods as assets
- Enhance the diversity of Hartford 2000
- Improve the financial status and sustainability of Hartford 2000
- Strengthen the image of Hartford 2000
- Empower stakeholders to become active in and take ownership of their community
