Hartford Mayor
Eddie A. Perez, has kicked off his Homeownership Initiative and the first
component to become operational is the Pride Block program.
You and your neighbors are invited to consider whether your block would
benefit from being designated a “Pride Block."
Pride Blocks are small
areas of Hartford that can serve as models for great places to live
because the homes are well-maintained, the residents know each other, and
they work together to make their block attractive and friendly. As the
name suggests, residents take pride in their block.
The program is being administered by “The
Neighborhoods of Hartford,” a nonprofit formed for this purpose. The
